Welsh names ending in "dog" Or "og" are anglicized to "doc" Or "oc" Like Teulyddog is pronounced Teullyddoc.
- "dd" is prounced as "th" in "the" not as in "think"
- "y" has a Schwa sound, as in rose
- "ch" as a German sound as in "Bcah", or Yiddish "Chutzpah"
- "f" as "v"
- "ff" as in the English, treat as one letter
- "ll" Treat as one letter, hard to pronounce, sound out the "l", then hiss..like "cl" Or "hl"
- "th" as in think
- "w" often pronounced as a vowel "u" or as a consonant "gw" as in Gwen
