The Scandinavian Studies Program of Jamestown, New York has invited us back for their Third Annual Scandinavian Folk Festival. It will take place at The Allen Park Ice Rink from September 10th thru September 12th, 2004. We have been asked to set up an as authentic as possible Viking encampment. We have permission to camp in it overnight.

We are intending to have multiple Viking A-frames and slot-and-tab furniture. We will have a Kubbe field, an archery range, and an axe-throwing range. We will be inviting visitors to throw axes, play Kubb and sample mead. Hopefully, we will be able to set up competitions with the Viking Ship folks.

If you are planning to attend, please contact Keinven (Monica Mercer) and let her know whether you will be day-tripping or camping and what you can bring.
